Angela's surgery went well. It was a long day at the doctor, but went OK. Angela handled everything well, she was out for quite awhile, even in recovery. And of course, the first thing she asked for was coffee. I picked up some chocolate too.

Christina also handled it very well. Her and I played and sang while waiting for mommy. I brought the chair along and that worked well for lunch. Christina and I set up camp in a corner at the coffee shop and ate lunch.

Christina also handled her stretches in the waiting room. We are getting a handle on some of the sensory issues.

Angela is finding out how much she uses both hands to do things. Picking Christina up or setting her down is a bit tricky now. And the stretches are difficult.

Christina is already showing signs of revolt. The little squirt will purposely throw herself against Angela's sore arm. And while walking will suddenly drop to a sitting position. Not to mention the grabbing and typical hitting(not purposeful).

It will be a long week. Next week are Christina's appointments.

We have lots of appointments coming up so I figured I better post while I can.

Angela has surgery coming up this week. Christina's appointments are the end of the month into October. I think we have surgery, neurologist, eye, physiologist, and then the dentist. The dentist appointment will be her first cleaning.

Morning,

Christina, my little princess, has been up most of the night. I decided to try and be productive. Check email, weather, woot, blog.

Christina is so cute this time of the morning. Her eyes are big, we didn't turn on any big lights. She has a big yawn every three minutes or so. And, as we sit here, she is bracing one hand on the desk and grabbing the laptop with the other.

Last night I army crawled to mommy twice. It was hard but I wiggled, pulled with my arms and pushed with my feet. Mommy and daddy were soo proud of me. I was pretty proud of my self too.

Mommy and I went swimming at the YMCA for the first time in two weeks. The pool was closed for cleaning. It is a good thing it opened because it is too cold to go swimming in the river now. I also walked from the locker room to the exit. I missed doing that.

Today I went to great grandma Marge's with mommy and had lunch. I even let her hold me. I ate a lot, she had real yummy peaches all cut up for me.

Grandma Patty came over for supper tonight and I showed her that I could crawl.  I had a busy day. My two year molars started to come. I am getting the bottom right one. So four more teeth and I should be all done.

Christina is making progress getting her legs to do what she wants them to. She is making crawling motions and can get to her destination with a lot of effort and enough patience.

This weekend was fairly quiet. Grandpa and his friend came over today. Christina received a neat toy from Julie. She liked the paper, of course, and started playing with the toy after I got it out of the box. Darn tape and cable ties.

I finally put something together for the pictures. I stuck a slideshow in to add to the page. Angela really liked it. Got lucky on that, I just needed filler. The photo albums are all done and uploaded through July, 2008. The form to pick which gallery to look at is done(the page I stuck the slideshow on).

The pictures are backed up through the middle of August and I will finish that tonight. And, the task of sorting through all the pics is almost done. I have all of Christina in her own folder. Everyone else is stuck in one folder. I will start breaking those out soon.

After that, I want to view the inventory in a quick and easy way I am not sure the best route to go. I am afraid the best way will be to go through each picture again and add meta data. Yuck! Last count was around 13000 of Christina.

Time to upload some photos and go to bed.

We took Christina to the park on Labor Day. We went swinging and walking in the water.

Well this was suppose to be my birthday so I am officially 2 years adjusted.  Anyway...
Sunday mom and I went to Riverview to go on the swings and wade in the river. I had other plans, when we got to the river I took off right into the water. It was so much fun. Mom and I played around.  My diaper grew so much from the water that mom had to take it off so I could keep walking. I met a little girl named Elle in the water playing just like me. I was a short but fun trip. It was close to dinner time. I also got to ride home with no diaper just my skirt. Whoo hooo, and no accidents.

Well we had so much fun that on Labor Day, today, mom and I got daddy to go back to the park and play in the water with me, the swings too. I had lots of fun. Daddy cooked an awesome turkey tonight for dinner. The sweet potatoes were real yummy too. Uncle Ed came over for supper and chatted for awhile. Later mom and dad took me for a walk. Mom even ran for a bit with me, I sure like it when she runs, its a lot of fun.

I am starting to grab more things with my hands and becoming more independent. I got my gym mat in the mail and it is fun to lay outside on it. We use it in the house too.  My sitting is getting better and so is my walking in the gait trainer. Words are coming a little better for me, I am getting sounds out more often. I don't like to talk while others are around because I am shy. My new favorite thing to do besides cuddle with my mommy and daddy is to read Mr. Brown can Moo Can You? and I Have a Wocket in my Pocket. I just love those books. 

Oh ya I forgot to mention that going potty on the big potty is going very well.

I had a busy day I am off to bed. Night night.

I have been a busy beaver working on pictures.

The wonderful pictures of Christina needed to be sorted. And, backed up. I am done. All of 2006, 2007, and 2008 through the first half of August.

Now, my next task is to sort and backup the pictures I pulled out of Christina's folder.

AND, I finished the crude form to choose the year and month of the photo album. I stuck in a slideshow also, 'cause it looked neat. Angela loved it so more work on that. I finished an uploader tonight. Now Angela can upload the photos and I don't need to worry about it.

This weekend I went to Evan's 5th birthday party. I had fun. I got to eat more ice cream cake. MMMM MMM. There was a pinyata and I helped break it. I pulled ribbon out just like the big kids, with daddy's help. There was a puppy that was my size and I got puppy kisses all over. I liked her and I tried to give kisses back.

Mommy, daddy and I were going to go camping after but there was no camp sites available for us. So we will try another time. Thanks to uncle Donny for going up there before we made it all the way there. It would have been a long car ride for me. But I did get to hang out with uncle Donny he came over for supper and chatted. I got to show him some new stuff that I have learned.

So I have been sitting up at the coffee table and supporting myself. Whoo hoo!!! I am also working on talking more. We are still walking the hallway at the YMCA. Oh ya the pool is closed for two weeks for it cleaning. Mommy and I will have to find something else to do.

I have been not sleeping very well. Last week I was up for 4 days and now this week I was up for two days. So mommy is going to make me take chloral. That is what the docs gave me to sleep because it is not good for anyone.
