Yesterday Angela had surgery on her leg. To avoid a detailed description, her veins need help. Christina stayed with a sitter while Angela and I went to the UofM. Everything went well. We are hoping this takes care of the pain.
Christina has been a daddy's girl for the last few weeks. When we came home it was hugs and kisses for me and right to mommy.
Christina is doing wonderful in school. She is much more social and enjoys being around other kids. It is amazing how children act and react around Christina. Many parents and other adults need a good slap up-side the head.
We had an appointment for Christina with Dr. Taniguchi on Oct. 23. The appointment went well, the drive we still need to work on. Phenol blocks and Botox are scheduled for December. An eye appointment is scheduled on Nov. 20 with Dr. Engle and the dentist in Dec.
I am doing better than I have been. Angela and my relationship hit a rough spot. We are back on track and both of us are working on staying that way.

Last night Christina and the snow biz committee had their pictures taken. Christina was sitting on the snowmobile with daddy. I was doing clucking for laughter purposes. Anyway to anyone who sees the picture know that all the smiles are laughing at me. It was all worth it though.
Tomorrow Christina is getting her pictures done by herself by Giles for UCP events and to be published. I am hoping that she is up to it and in a great mood. Today she seems under the weather and has a slight fever. So I am not sure if it is the same lingering bug or a new bug.
Friday we are on our way to see doctor Tanaguchi to decide what to do with more phenol botox procedures. I guess we'll find out more Friday.
School is going great for Christina and she really likes to go. She is so exited to tell about her day when I pick her up. Also in the school transition process she has become a daddy's girl 110%. It is now all about daddy. I know that Derek is enjoying this. I on the other hand enjoy it for daddy but miss my little girl.

Snow Biz 2010 is on January 30th. For more info or to get involved call 715-832-1782.
The photo shoot for Christina went well. As soon as I made it to Zacho's, Christina saw me and she was a daddy's girl. I did not have the opportunity to meet everyone there and thank them. Things happened very fast and I was trying to get a grasp on everything. Next thing I know the pictures are done.
Angela made everyone smile as she imitated a chicken to get Christina to smile. She turned several shades of red. If Christina smiled and had her head up, it was worth it.

I can give everyone the quick update on what has been going on.
Christina is a featured child for UCP. Yeah Christina!!! We will be going to as many UCP activities as we can. Today is a photo shoot for Snow Biz. I am unsure of the date and will post about all the events I can with details, when, where, etc.
Christina has been sick the last few days. Runny nose and feeling kinda blah. Overall her mood has been good. School is going very well and she is making a lot of progress.
Support your local UCP. For us the site is www.ucpwcw.org. Or, you can go to www.ucp.org for the national site.

Today Christina and Crystal and I went to the mall and had lunch. Christina ate very well. We went to the play place nad Christina had a blast. I made Crystal take pictures because when we go I can't take to picts by myself/. Crystal was very impressed with what Christina could do. Weorked on stepping up steps and crawling along with walking. She crawled through the bear tunnel by herself. It was great to see how far we have come since we started going there.

School is going great for Christina. There still needs to be some more work on transition but she loves it. We have been spending time at the mall play place working on social skills, stepping up steps, walking, and crawling. She is doing great. Today at school there were hardly any tears.
Christina has went to see grandma Kar in CCU three times this week and gave her kisses every time. She does hate hospitals and knows when we are at one. I think that she is better now knowing that she does not have to stay and it is not for her.
She is a very strong willed little girl and that's where our behavior problems are coming into play. There is nothing wrong with strong will because that is what got her this far but she needs to know who really is running the house.( Not her) Things are getting better for others such as Daddy and Deb but we still have along way to go. She can turn on the water works at the drop of a hat. It is really funny to watch now. It was not about 5 months ago. I do have to say it is a great feeling to know that we are struggling with the average three year old issues. It is just a little harder given that the communication is not the greatest. We are working on that very hard.
Things are going great. And in the upcoming months look for Christina's picture around the community regarding UCP.

School is going very well for Christina. She is so exited to go, of course she cries when she gets there and is fine as soon as they walk the other way. She also had her first school pictures taken on Monday. They turned out very well. I was there to help get the pictures and got to choose the ones to use. She did great.
We are having attitude issues but they are all normal 3 year old issues.
We are very exited to work with UCP. We are sending pictures of Christina to them so they can be used. We will be getting more information soon as to what we are going to be doing. Other than that all is well in the Kademan household.
